India deports 63 Yemenis and blacklists them in 2024

The Times of India newspaper reported today, Thursday, that the Indian city of Buna Pune deported 105 foreign citizens and 52 of them were included in the blacklist last year.
The newspaper quoted the Bona Commissioner, Amitish Kumar, as saying that "up to 63 Yemeni citizens have been deported and included in the black list last year," stressing that "once a foreign citizen was included in the blacklist, he cannot travel again to India
Kumar pointed out that "Bona Police noted that a large number of Yemeni citizens resided illegally in the city, violating the visa rules.
Kumar added: “In the wake of the civil war in Yemen, many people from there came to India, especially Bona for treatment, and after the expiration of their medical visas, some of them do not return to their country.”
For his part, Melind Miheit, Deputy Police Commissioner (Special Branch) said: “As the civil war continues in Yemen, many people suffer from injuries. Some hospitals in Bona provide low -cost treatment for them. People come to Bona for treatment using medical visas. They do not want to return to their country after treatment because of the problems there.
