The Security Belt forces in Lahj Governorate were able to arrest a criminal element who detonated an explosive device targeting a military vehicle belonging to the 3rd Infantry Brigade in the village of Al-Hamra, Lahj

The Lahj Belt Operations explained that after receiving a report about the operation, the Security Belt Forces imposed a security cordon on the targeting area and through a careful tracking operation succeeded in arresting one of the members hours after the operation.

She added that a preliminary investigation has been opened with the person involved in the bombing (P.B.A) in preparation for completing the investigation procedures against him and referring him to the competent authorities

In turn, the Commander of the Security Belt Forces in the governorate, Brigadier General Hussein Al-Saeedi, said that the Security Belt Forces will not allow Lahj to return to a square of chaos 

Stressing that the Lahj belt was and will remain an impenetrable barrier to terrorist attempts that seek to destabilize security and stability in the governorate.

He added: “We will not allow any party to cause chaos or tamper with the security of Lahj, and we will remain keen to pursue criminal elements and hold them accountable

He thanked the honorable citizens for their effective role in supporting the efforts of the security services, stressing that Lahj and its honorable people will remain an environment that repels all forms of terrorism and crime.
