The International Organization for Immigration (IOM) said in a report on displacement, that it had monitored 23 families consisting of 138 people, at least once, during the period between 19 and 25 January 2025.
The report added that last week's displacement cases represented a 28% decrease from the previous week; The period (12-18 January 2025), in which 32 families of 192 were displaced.
Al -Dhuh Foundation (DTM) of the Immigration Organization indicated that the new displacement cases were limited to only 3 governorates, most of which were, as usual, in Marib, who received 14 families (presented to them from Hodeidah and Sana'a), compared to 6 families in Hodeidah (internal (internal From Taiz), and 3 families in Lahj (from Hodeidah and Taiz).
The report pointed out that security concerns and threats were the main reason behind the departure of 13 families to their original areas; With 57% of the total new displacement cases, while the economic conditions associated with the conflict prompted 10 families; And by 43%, for displacement.
He added that 30% of the new displaced families during the past week need shelter services, 44% for foodstuffs, while 22% of them lack financial support, and 4% for non -food items (NFI).
