Awad bin Al -Wazir, Governor of Shabwa, and Engineer Awad Diman, Director General of the General Organization for Roads and Bridges, discussed the Foundation’s plans for the current year, to complete road projects and emergency and routine maintenance work and enhance traffic safety procedures.

The meeting discussed the foundations of the Foundation’s plan, based on the Foundation for the Ministry of Public Works and Roads Projects, with the shadow of the focus on the main road network between the governorate center and the directorates, in addition to the province’s share of the United Nations Project Services Projects (Universes) for the maintenance of internal streets.

Bin Al -Wazir said that the year 2025 will witness a qualitative shift in the main road projects, praising the attention of the Minister of Public Works and Roads, Eng. Salem Al -Aboudi, and his keenness to support the efforts of the local authority in developing the province's infrastructure, by focusing efforts on the main road projects. p>

He expressed the support and maintenance of the local authority for the road sector, and to enhance the role of government institutions in carrying out their tasks, led by the General Organization for Roads and Bridges in the governorate, to ensure improvement of the arterial road network and facilitate the movement of mobility between the directorates.
