A militant from the Houthi terrorist group in the Yemeni Al-Jawf Governorate shot his wife to death in front of her mother and in her father’s house.

Local sources said that “Houthi leader Abdul-Ilah Salman” killed his wife after she submitted to the court a request for her divorce from him in Al-Hazm District in Al-Jawf Governorate.

The victim’s mother said in an audio recording, “The perpetrator attacked her house on Thursday, looking for her daughter, who had asked him for a divorce through the court, and who had been with him for nearly three years, to empty several bullets into her body, and was not deterred by her mother’s pleas for him to finish off the last bullet.” In the victim’s head, even though he passed away.”

The incident sparked widespread anger on social media. This incident is not the first, as it was preceded by similar incidents in Houthi-controlled areas committed by people affiliated with the group’s field leaders, the most recent of which was a Houthi leader who ended the life of a doctor in Dhamar without any reason.”
