Injured sources announced the death of the liberated prisoner, Muhammad Ali Al -Naseem, a few days after he left the Houthi militia detention centers. The announcement came in light of reports confirming the deterioration of his health as a result of the torture and ill -treatment he was exposed to during five years in a prison run by the militia leader, Abdul Qadir Al -Murtada.

The sources stated that the harsh conditions experienced by Al -Naseem inside the detainee greatly affected his health, which led to the exacerbation of his medical condition after his release. Although attempts to provide the necessary health care, his condition continued to deteriorate until it eventually led to his death.

Representatives of the concerned authorities have expressed their deep sorrow and regretted that one of the prisoners of the resistance who sacrificed their lives for the issue of liberating the land. They also stressed the need to hold those responsible for human rights violations and torture accountable during the period of detention.

Calls continued by a number of activists and human rights organizations to open an international investigation into the violations witnessed by the Al -Naseem prisoner, demanding the justice of the tragedy and punishing those responsible for the torture he suffered during his imprisonment.
