The National Meteorological Center in Yemen warned of a very cold atmosphere during the next night and morning tomorrow, Thursday, with the possibility of frosting on limited areas in seven governorates.
The center explained, in its air deployment, today, Wednesday, that the governorates are: Al -Bayda, Dhamar, Sana'a, Imran, Saada, Al -Jouf, and Marib.
He called on citizens in these governorates to be careful, especially the elderly, children, patients, and workers during the night and early morning hours, due to the low temperatures to levels that may affect public health.
The Center stressed the need to take the necessary measures to protect crops from the effect of frost.
Witness of livestock, beekeepers and poultry, to the importance of providing warm and safe places to protect livestock from the repercussions of the severe cold.
The report indicated that the atmosphere will be cold on the heights of the governorates of Ibb, Al -Dhalea, Lahj, and Abyan, as well as on the plateaux of Shabwa, Hadramout, and Al -Mahra, while it will be relatively cold in the governorates of Hajjah, Al -Mahwit, Rima, and Taiz.
As for the desert areas, the atmosphere is expected to be a relatively awake and with active winds that may lead to dust and sand.
With regard to the coastal areas, the center expected that the coasts will witness an awakening atmosphere to partially cloudy, with high -speed winds on the south of the Red Sea, and active on the west of the Gulf of Aden, which may lead to the disturbance of the sea and the height of the wave.
The center warned the fishermen and the sea visitors in the south of the Red Sea and the west of the Gulf of Aden to the need to be careful and not to risk sailing under the disorder of the waves.
