The Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held its regular meeting today, Sunday, headed by President Commander Aidaroos Qasim Al-Zubaidi, President of the Council.
At the beginning of the meeting, which was attended by the Council’s ministers in the government and the heads of the auxiliary bodies of the Presidency, the Leader presented a summary of the latest political developments. And the efforts being made by countries in the region and the world to end the war and bring peace to the country, and the developments related to the political process and its stages.
The Commission renewed its welcome and affirmation of the initiatives and efforts being made by the brothers in the region and the international community to bring peace to our country and the region. The importance of the presence of the issue of the people of the South in all stages of the political process and in its own framework agreed upon by the political parties, and approved by the outcomes of the Gulf Cooperation Council consultations.
The meeting then stopped, before the evaluation report on the work of the General Secretariat of the Council’s Presidency, the central bodies, and the assistance. The Presidency and the executive bodies in the governorates and districts for the third semester of the current year 2023, submitted by the Institutional Development Authority, which includes an analytical assessment of the bodies’ work and achievements during the semester, the positives achieved, areas of shortcomings, and proposals for improvement and development in light of the evaluation results.
The meeting praised the effort. The great effort made to complete the report, stressing the commitment to the tasks and competencies regulating the work of each body, the necessity of addressing deficiencies, preventing duplication in the implementation of activities and their quality, evaluating their effectiveness and measuring their political and societal impact.
At the conclusion of its meeting, the body touched on a number of topics related to the life of citizens' livelihood, and a number of organizational issues related to the work of the central and local council bodies, and the necessary measures were taken regarding them.
