By commissioning Dr. Muhammad Saeed Al -Zaouri, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor for the Welfare Sector, Mr. Saleh Mahmoud Hassan, discussed this morning in the capital, Aden, with Ahmed Abdel -Daiem, the official of the Child Protection Department of UNICEF, and Mujib Sultan, the protection officer And the lights of Bashrahil, the follower of follow-up and evaluation, the completed joint plan for the year 2024, within the framework of the positive partnership between the ministry and UNICEF, and the successes achieved during the past years, including the inauguration of the strategic framework for social protection in Yemen 2025-2030. The meeting also discussed the UNICEF-protecting plan for the years 2025-2026.

The agent, Saleh Mahmoud Hassan, affirmed the ministry, represented by His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Saeed Al -Zaouri, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, to strengthen this partnership to achieve more successes in the future. He pointed out that the speech of Minister Al -Zaouri, during the inauguration of the strategic framework for social protection in Yemen at the end of last month, confirmed that this achievement came as a fruit of the active and distinguished partnership between the ministry and UNICEF.

During the meeting, the completion of the technical procedures to launch the national plan to protect vulnerable children 2025-2027, at the end of February.

The meeting also discussed a number of perceptions related to updating the status management system, projects and activities that serve the country's protection, especially weak children.
