The security forces in the capital, Aden, deployed this evening in the various directorates, as they carry out their tasks in securing public and private property, in the context of proactive measures aimed at ensuring the stability of the city and protecting it from any attempts to sabotage and chaos.

This came after widespread protests in Aden, cut the roads, and set fire to damaged tires to protest the water and electricity completely from the city since nearly today. 

This step aims to enhance safety, especially in light of the current conditions in the city from the deterioration in basic services, such as electricity and water, which raises widespread discontent among citizens. This comes at a sensitive time, as security forces seek to maintain calm in Aden, and to prevent the exploitation of economic crises to fuel chaos.

In this context, the Capital Security Administration issued an important statement today, in which it called for cooperation and commitment to peace in expressing demands, while emphasizing the following points:

1. The right to peaceful demonstration: The Security Department emphasized that the right to peaceful demonstration and demanding rights is a right guaranteed for all, with the need to adhere to the laws and not to prejudice public or private property.

2. Respect for public property: I asked everyone to avoid any actions that may lead to the destruction of public property, such as burning tires and cutting roads, noting that these properties are belonging to all and must be preserved.

3. Civilization expression: The Security Department urged citizens to express their demands in a civilized way by organizing peaceful stops or submitting proposals to the concerned authorities, while avoiding resorting to violence.

4. Settings and cooperation: stressed the need for solidarity and cooperation between everyone in order to find practical and sustainable solutions to the crises the city is going through, and work to improve the conditions responsible.

The statement concluded an invitation to everyone to work together for a better future for the city of Aden, while emphasizing that maintaining security and stability is a shared responsibility between the security services and citizens alike.
