American Center: This is the only way to defeat the Houthis!

The Middle East Forum, the American, said that the United States should arm the Yemenis with the tools necessary to victory over the Iran -backed terrorist group.
The center published an analysis of the researcher "Eric Navarro" entitled: Can the Yemenis defeat the Houthis?
The report said it had been fighting against the Houthis more than a decade. The Iran -backed terrorist group is still stationed in Sana'a and most of the northern Yemen, and continues its actual control over the port of Hodeidah, and is now seeking to control the modest oil fields in Yemen around Marib.
He added, that the continued presence of the Houthis indicates that the previous strategies did not succeed. The Biden Diplomatic Administration efforts have failed. The Houthis deleted it from the list of foreign terrorist organizations except to encourage the group.
He continued: “President Donald Trump has re -included the Houthis on the terrorist list. While regional allies around the world are demanding the defense of themselves, instead of relying on the United States to provide a defensive umbrella, at the same time it is ready to give the allies what they need To accomplish their mission. ”
The writer stressed that "the Yemeni army must have the ability to monitor, deter and strike the Houthi forces independently, without relying on Western intervention."
He said: “Here the opportunity is looming. Dependence only on the American military forces and its allies forces is not an easy thing. The internationally recognized Yemeni government must take the initiative to secure its lands.”
He pointed out that the Yemeni government expressed its willingness to fight, but in the absence of appropriate weapons, it remains unable to own it. If Washington is serious in restoring deterrence, protecting global trade and confronting Iranian expansion, it must provide the Yemenis with the tools necessary to achieve victory.
He added, that the unequal tactics pursued by the Houthis - missile strikes, drones, small boat attacks, and marine mines - require a multi -layer defensive strategy.
