56 unidentified bodies were buried in Aden

The Public Prosecution carried out the burial of 56 unidentified bodies, which were preserved in the central refrigerator of the forensic medicine at the Republic Hospital in Aden, under the directives of the Attorney General Qaher Mustafa Ali, and the Minister of Justice Judge Badr Al -Ardah, in cooperation with the International Red Cross.
The burial took place in two phases; The first after the dawn prayer and included 34 bodies, while the second batch was buried at two in the evening and included 22 bodies, and the operation was carried out in the Abu Harba cemetery in the Al -Hasswa district, Al -Brega district, Aden Governorate.
Judge Saleh Bashi’i, Director General of the National Center for Forensic Medicine, which belongs to the Ministry of Justice, explained that these measures came in response to the directives of the Attorney General, and the Minister of Justice regarding mitigating the accumulation of corpses in the Republic Hospital, especially in light of the repeated interruptions of electricity and direction by following the central refrigerators in my hospitals Friendship and Republic.
Bashi’i pointed out that after the Public Prosecution completed the legal procedures, direct coordination was made with the Red Cross, where the burial process took place according to international standards, including documenting all data on the bodies, determining them with numbers on their actions, writing data on graves. While maintaining electronic and paper records for the possibility of referring to them when the relatives of the deceased appear.
It is reported that last week witnessed the burial of 15 unidentified bodies in Lahj Governorate, under the supervision of the Public Prosecution and the National Center for Forensic Medicine.
The burial process was attended by a number of relevant officials, including: Afif Muhammad Al -Subaihi - Director of the Office of the General Prosecution, and Mahmoud Ali Ibrahim - Director of the Follow -up Department and Deputy Director of the Prosecutor's Prosecution Office, Salah Al -Souki - Head of the Department of Corps Department at the National Center for Forensic Medicine, And Abdul Rahman Ali Mohsen Al -Jahfi - Head of Criminal Investigation at Al -Gomhoria Hospital, Muhammad Al -Bayti - The contractor in charge of carrying out the burial process by the Red Cross.
