In the context of its ongoing efforts to enhance health awareness and the exchange of medical knowledge, the city's medical center organized a scientific lecture entitled "Infection Control in Hospitals and Health Centers", with the participation of a number of professionals in the health sector.

The lecture was presented by Dr. Khairallah Al -Ghazali, who holds a doctorate in viruses and medical microbiology and immunity from the Faculty of Medicine at Malay University (UM) Malaysia. In his lecture, Dr. Al -Ghazali discussed the most important strategies and modern methods of infection prevention within medical institutions, with a focus on effective methods of sterilization, disinfection, and the protection of health workers and patients.

The lecturer also reviewed the latest global protocols to combat infection, in addition to the prevention strategies followed in the face of global epidemics.

The lecture witnessed a distinguished presence of laboratory, nurses and administrators, who expressed great interaction with the topic, which reflects the importance of these issues in improving the medical work environment and enhancing patient health.

This lecture comes within a series of activities organized by the center with the aim of raising the level of medical and preventive knowledge, and enhancing public health practices among workers in the health sector.
