Ashraf Abdullah Saleh Al -Khulaifi, Director General of Ataq, Acting Chairman of the Services Committee, accompanied by Hussein Al -Rifai, Director General of Information, Muhammad Fadl, Director General of the Fund for Improvement and Cleanliness, and Engineer Nabil Issa, Director of the Municipal Department of the Works Office in the governorate, And Abu Bakr Hussein, Director of the Works Department in Ataq, on the ongoing work to remove encroachments on public interests in the commercial monument neighborhood of Ataq.

Al -Khulaifi explained that these measures come in implementation of the decisions of the Services Committee, in the context of preserving urban planning and facilitating the access of services to citizens. He added that the Services Committee is working at a high and continuous pace to carry out its duties until the removal of all random appearances and infringements on public interests and services.

Al -Qa’im also warned the head of the committee, that the procedures will continue without any decline until the completion of its duties throughout the city, stressing that the committee will take the necessary legal measures towards any attempt to obstruct these corrective measures, calling on citizens to provide cooperation with the authorities in charge of carrying out these actions. .

On their part, citizens expressed their satisfaction with these measures, which included everyone without exception, and indicated that some tried to exploit public interests and disrupt the services of citizens by building slums and exploiting them to achieve material profit at the expense of the public interest.
