Start unloading the diesel shipment of Aden refineries tanks to operate the power stations

began today, Wednesday, February 12, 2025 AD, the process of unloading the diesel shipment in the tanks of Aden refineries, after the completion of the procedures for examining routine fuel.
This procedure comes within the framework of working on providing tankers in the park of the oil facility in Bureeqa, to be transferred successively to the totally stalled power plants for nearly three months.
According to the Aden Electricity Corporation, the stations are expected to be supplied with fuel and operated from the first hours of the dawn of Thursday, with an assertion that the stability of the service will be relative at the beginning, after the completion of the supply of all stations with the necessary fuel.
At the present time, the available obstetric energy is estimated at 50 megawatts, which is the energy produced from Mansoura station only, in light of the stopping of the solar station that was operating during the day.
Sources in the Electricity Administration confirmed that the process of supplying the stations with fuel will take place according to a deliberate plan to ensure the restoration of the service gradually and alleviate the crisis that the city lived due to the power outage.
