In a new security achievement, the Coast Guard forces, the Red Sea sector, in coordination with the Intelligence Division in the National Resistance Forces, managed to seize a qualitative Iranian weapon shipment that was on its way to the Houthi militia across the sea.
Initial investigations revealed that the shipment, which was smuggled through the port of Djibouti, contained advanced military equipment, including winged missile bodies, jet engines used in missiles and offensive marches, along with drones, modern naval devices, and advanced electronic jamming system , And a modern wireless communication system.
According to the Al -Gomhoria channel, speaking in the name of Yemeni president, Tariq Saleh, the suspects reported that they were working for the so -called Hassan Al -Attas, who was appointed by the Houthi militia as head of fish traps in Hodeidah, in an attempt to cover up arms smuggling operations.
This process comes within the efforts of the national resistance and the Coast Guard in addressing the smuggling of Iranian weapons that feed the Houthi militias, in a flagrant violation of international resolutions, and in continuation of Iranian attempts to destabilize security and stability in Yemen and the region.
