Director of the National Cancer Control Corporation, Taiz branch, Mukhtar Saeed, explained that the number of cancer patients from the opening of the center until the end of 2024 amounted to 13497 patients, including 943 children.

This came during the inauguration of the Undersecretary of Taiz Governorate for Health Affairs, Dr. Ilan Abdel Haq, the World Cancer Day event organized by the National Cancer Control Corporation.

He pointed to the important role the center plays in providing continuous treatment and care for patients.

In turn, during the event, Dr. Ilan called on humanitarian organizations, government agencies and financial and businessmen, to intensify efforts to support cancer patients, especially children.

She stressed the necessity of activating the Patient Support Fund .. He made sure that providing treatment and improving care conditions is a collective responsibility ·
