The Undersecretary of the Security and Research Prosecution inspects the conditions of the detainees in the Aden belt and directs the release of a number of them

In implementation of the directives of the Public Prosecutor, Judge Qaher Mustafa, the Undersecretary of the Security and Research Prosecution, Judge Bassam Ghaleb, today made an inspection visit to the detention center of the security belt forces in the Khorm Makser district in the capital, Aden, to follow up the conditions of the detainees and see the progress of investigation and reasoning procedures. p>
During the visit, the Public Prosecution Office met with Brigadier Jalal Al -Rubaie, commander of the security belt forces in Aden, who provided an explanation about the legal procedures followed in arrests and inferences, in addition to reviewing the mechanism of dealing with cases referred to the competent authorities.
Judge Bassam Ghaleb also toured the detention site, where he met a number of detainees and listened to their observations, stressing the importance of adhering to legal procedures and respecting the rights guaranteed in accordance with the law.
The Public Prosecutor stressed the need for all security authorities to adhere to the legal controls during the implementation of the seizures and investigations, stressing that the Public Prosecution is keen, in accordance with the directives of the Attorney General, to conduct periodic field visits to detention centers to ensure the legality of arrest and the integrity of the measures taken against the detainees. p>
Judge Bassam Ghaleb directed during his visit to the release of a number of detainees after completing the investigations with them, stressing the importance of not being detained by any person outside the legal framework, and the need to quickly decide on cases to ensure the achievement of justice and not to prolong detention periods without legal justification. >
At the end of his visit, the Undersecretary of the Security and Research Prosecution stressed the need to continue cooperation between the security services and the public prosecutor to ensure the application of the law properly, noting the importance of referring cases to the competent prosecution in a timely manner to follow up on legal procedures and take appropriate decisions regarding them.
