The markets are witnessing obscene, as the prices of some basic commodities increased by more than 50%, which made the preparation for the holy month a heavy burden on the citizens.
It was noted a significant decrease in the purchase movement in the districts of the capital, Aden, where the shops became almost free of customers.
Malik, a food store, said, "In previous years, the market was witnessing a great turnout, but now things are different. Prices have risen and customers are visiting a lot before buying anything.
Some of the directorates of the capital, Aden, witnessed the exit of hundreds of protesters to express their dissatisfaction with the deterioration of the living and economic conditions.
