The destruction of 13 tons of juices and powdered milk that violates the specifications

Assistant Undersecretary of the Governorate, Salem Ahmed Al -Nassi, with the Public Prosecution, supervised the process of destroying more than thirteen tons of juices and powdered milk that violates the specifications, due to its danger to consumers.
During the destruction process, which was attended by the Director General of the Trade and Industry Office, Fahd Al -Kuwili, Dr. Mohamed Dwehan, Undersecretary of the Ataq Prosecution, and the Director of the Standards, Metrology and Quality Control Authority in the province’s branch, Saleh Al -Hamid, the representative praised the level of the performance of the Industry Office and the Settlement Authority in Markets Monitoring and Consumer Protection One of the foods that violate the specifications and harmful to public health.
For his part, the Director General of the Industry and Trade Office, Fahd Al -Kuwaili, explained that, according to the generalization of the Supreme Specifications Authority on Food and Beverages that violate the specifications, the control teams in the industry office were able to seize more than 13 tons of juices and powdered milk that apply to the criteria for generalizing the Supreme Standardization Authority .
Al -Kuwili expressed his appreciation for the interest and follow -up of the local authority headed by the Governor bin Al -Wazir, praising the cooperation of all the competent authorities in the branch of the Standards Authority, the Public Prosecution and the security services in supporting the inspection teams to control such violations. He also called on everyone to avoid harming the health of the consumer by circulating the violating goods, confirming that legal measures are taken against violators.
