Local and medical sources in Ibb governorate reported that the work has stopped completely at the dialysis center of the Revolutionary General Hospital Authority since the middle of last week.

The sources indicated that this sudden stop has exacerbated the suffering of kidney failure, who depend on washing sessions periodically to survive.

The sources revealed that the reason for the complete stopping of dialysis sessions is due to the disruption of the central station that feeds the devices with energy and water needed to operate it.

She emphasized that this station had witnessed repeated breakdowns during the past months, which led to its operation intermittently and irregularly.

However, the last holiday was decisive, as the work of the devices completely stopped, and left patients without any therapeutic options inside the hospital.

The sources indicated that the patients were forced to leave the center after separating the devices from them, while the responsible authorities did not take any urgent measures to reform the defect or provide temporary alternatives.
