Southern forces thwart a Houthi attack in the Al-Thokhab sector in Al-Dhalea

Today, units of our southern armed forces thwarted an attack launched by the Iranian-backed Houthi militias on their positions in the Al-Thokhab sector, northwest of Al-Dhalea Governorate.
According to a military source, the militias attempted to launch an attack towards the positions of Shaab Ahmed, Al-Sahil and Al-Qashaa, but they were forced to retreat and defeat after receiving painful and accurate artillery strikes and direct clashes.
The source confirmed that our southern armed forces inflicted heavy losses on the militias in lives and equipment, including the killing and wounding of dozens of their members, and the destruction of a number of their military vehicles.
The source added that during this attack attempt, the Houthi militias used artillery, mortar shells, (RBG) and machine guns extensively, but they returned burdened with losses without achieving any field or moral gain.
The source indicated that our southern armed forces are constantly on alert and in combat readiness, and that they will continue to confront all attempts by the Houthi militias to escalate and attack.
