An unjustified assault on an Ethiopian resident in Dhamar raises a wave of discontent

The Ethiopian resident Abdelkader, who works in the cleaning sector in the city of Dhamar, was violent by security elements, while he was leaving his workplace, although he holds legitimate residence in the country.
According to eyewitnesses, the security forces asked him to show his official papers, but he made it clear that the documents are in his nearby residence, which is only 20 meters from the location of the accident. However, the security elements did not give him a single moment, but rather they were beaten by the guns until his blood was asked, before a number of citizens intervened to stop the attack after they were confirmed by the legality of his residence.
The incident sparked widespread denial, especially since Abdel Qader is known for his morals and calmness, as he is old, and suffers from a disability in his feet, and preserves the Holy Qur’an, which makes the attack on him a harsh and unjustified behavior.
In light of this incident, activists and human rights activists demand that the involved and hold them accountable, stressing the need to stop these security violations that violate the rights of residents, regardless of their legal status.
Equity of the victim and rehabilitation is the least that can be done to stop these practices that are incompatible with human and legal values.
