The Director General of the Public Authority for Environmental Protection in the Hadhramaut Coast, Engineer Najwa Anis bin Zaidan, stressed the importance of the role of the media in supporting the efforts of the Environmental Protection Authority branch, in her first statement since her appointment at the beginning of this month.

Engineer Bin Zaidan expressed her aspiration to cooperate with various media outlets to spread environmental awareness among members of society and enhance the Authority’s role in protecting the environment. Bin Zidan indicated that the Authority faces many challenges in protecting the environment, stressing and confirming that the Authority is working to confront these challenges by implementing many projects and programs, in cooperation with government and community agencies.
