The United Nations calls on the Houthi group to release four of its employees

The United Nations called for the immediate release of four of its employees detained in the prisons of the terrorist Houthi militia, in Sanaa.
This came in a joint statement by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, yesterday, Tuesday.
The statement said: "These arrests carried out by the Houthis are unacceptable, and constitute a violation of the privileges and immunities granted to United Nations employees under international law."
The statement added that this is a deeply worrying situation, and reveals a complete disregard for the rule of law.
According to the United Nations, the Houthi group has repeatedly promised to release the detainees, without releasing them until now.
It is noteworthy that the Houthi militia continues to arrest four United Nations employees, two of whom have been in prison for more than two years, without providing any information about the reasons for their detention, their status, or their whereabouts.
