Inauguration of the fourth Ramadan Quran Competition for employees of the Armed Forces and Southern Security

Brigadier Mohsen Abdullah Al -Wali, Commander -in -Chief of the Security Belt Forces, launched the fourth Ramadan competition for the Holy Quran, organized by the Department of Religious Guidance in the General Administration of Moral Guidance in the Security Belt Forces, with the participation of 45 contestants from the members of the armed forces and southern security.
The competition started yesterday, Sunday, at the headquarters of the General Command in the People's Camp, in a spiritual atmosphere of tranquility and reverence, under the patronage of Brigadier Abdul Rahman Al -Muharrami, Vice -President of the Southern Transitional Council, and the supervision of Brigadier Al -Wali.
Colonel Khaled Al -Fadhli, Deputy Director of Moral Guidance Department, and Director of the Religious Guidance Department, said that the contestants compete in four categories: “The Koran category is complete, half of the Qur’an, the ten -part category, and the five -part category.”
Al -Fadhli explained that a specialized jury assesses the participants, headed by Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Hussein Al -Wali - Director of Endowments of the capital, Aden, and the membership of Sheikh Ahmed Al -Muhammadi - Head of the Memorization Department at the Endowments Office, and Sheikh Magdy Al -Askari - Member of the Reading Committee in the Ministry of Awqaf.
He pointed to the monitoring of valuable cash prizes for the owners of the first three places, in addition to encouraging prizes for the rest of the participants; In order to encourage them to preserve the Book of God and enhance religious values among the armed forces and security.
This competition comes within a series of religious, cultural and sports activities organized by the security belt forces during the month of Ramadan, with the aim of integrating the spiritual, cultural and sports side with the security message.
