Aden Security Director, Major General Mutahar Ali Naji Al -Shuaibi, issued a decision to suspend the director of Al -Imad Police, Captain Salem Ali Mansour Daqad, from work and refer him to investigation, against the background of issuing an official memorandum that includes financial demands that do not fall within the tasks of the security services.

The decision came after the circulation of an official memorandum issued by Al -Imad Police, in which its director addressed the owners of the Hanager, factories, yards and farms, calling for them to pay the annual zakat through an official police representative, which was considered by the director of Aden Security as a transgression of powers, and an explicit violation of the laws and regulations regulating the work of the security services.

Major General Al -Shuaibi emphasized that the security services are committed to law enforcement within the framework of their specified tasks, warning of any exploitation of the position or transgression of powers, and stressing that dealing with such violations will be according to the approved legal procedures.

He pointed out that the investigation is underway with the head of the General Police to take the necessary legal measures, in a manner that ensures respect for laws and not to harm the trust of citizens in security institutions.
