Shabwa Prosecution releases 21 prisoners

At the direction of the Attorney General Judge Qaher Mustafa, and on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, the General Appeals Prosecution in Shabwa Governorate released (21) prisoners who meet the conditions of release.
During the completion of the release procedures, the Undersecretary of Shabwa Governorate, Ahmed Saleh Al -Daghari, explained that this step reflects the commitment of the local authority in the governorate, represented by Governor Awad bin Al -Wazir, to provide support and assistance to insolvent prisoners. He also praised the efforts made by the Governorate Appeal Prosecution, the Prosecution of Research and Prisons, and the Central Prison Administration, calling on them to take the lesson and start a new page in their lives.
For his part, the head of the Shabwa Governorate Appeal Prosecution, Judge Dr. Saleh Al -Shiwi, explained that the directives of the release included prisoners who met the legal conditions, and they are the convicts who spent three quarters of the period in grave cases, and half -period in non -grave cases, and they have no special rights, with the exception of prisoners convicted of crimes with social risk.
The judge, Dr. Al -Shahawihi, said: “The list of those released by (21) prisoners, including (6) prisoners in special rights cases, after paying their financial rights amounted to (20) million Yemeni riyals, praising the efforts and follow -up of the governor of Shabwa Governorate, Awad Muhammad bin Al -Wazir, in this regard.
On their part, the released prisoners expressed their appreciation for the efforts of the governor of the province, Awad bin Al -Wazir, and the Shabwa appealing on this generous gesture on the occasion of the month of Ramadan, stressing their keenness to benefit from this honor and take the lesson from their sentence.
