The Center for Air Predictions and Early Warning at the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology warned of a wide wave of dust, a decrease in temperatures and the level of vision in several governorates, based on numerical models outputs and weather maps analysis, which indicates the activity of the northeastern surface winds.

In a warning bulletin issued by the center on Sunday evening, it was noted that the dust wave will affect large areas of the country, starting with deserts, highlands and internal plateaus in the governorates of Mahra, Hadramout, Shabwa, Al -Jouf, and Marib. It is expected that these effects will extend to the western and southern highlands, and the southern and western coasts, with a noticeable decrease in temperatures, especially at night and early morning.

The center also called on citizens, especially those with chest diseases, to take the necessary preventive measures, and vehicle drivers warned against the low horizontal visibility due to dust. The center called on everyone in the aforementioned areas to ensure that the temperatures are low, especially at night hours.
