A prominent Houthi leader was killed in an American raid

Media sources said today, the killing of the leader of the Houthi intelligence service, Abdel Nasser Al -Kamali, in an American raid.
Houthi media confirmed, in the early hours of this morning, that the United States launched new raids on several regions.
She said that the strikes included the governorates of Sana'a, "a series of raids on the capital and Jerban in the Sanhan district and Al -Jumaymah Bani Hashish," and Hodeidah "Gartan on the island of Kamran", and Marib "3 raids on the Magazar district."
And Monday evening, the Houthis announced that they had targeted a military site in Israel with a plane, and attacked two American destroyers in the Red Sea with a number of winged missiles and enlightening missiles, after the Israeli army declared an objection fired from the east.
Earlier on Monday, the Israeli army announced that it had intercepted a plane "approached Israeli lands from the east" before crossing its lands.
The Houthi -controlled areas in Yemen are witnessing almost daily strikes attributed to the United States, since Washington launched an air campaign against them on March 15 to force them to stop targeting the ships they accuse of being linked to Israel.
The Houthis also launched attacks on American warships and Israel, saying that this comes in solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza.
The Houthi group began targeting ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, as well as Israel, after the outbreak of the war in Gaza in October 2023, and they stopped the attacks after the armistice in the Gaza Strip was in force.
The new American campaign came after the Houthi threats to resume attacks due to the Israeli blockade of Gaza.
The Houthi attacks led to the disruption of the vital marine corridor, through which about 12 % of the global shipping movement usually passes, forcing many companies to take a much longer alternative road by turning around Africa.
