An international tribute to the management of the Duketyd Center in the capital, Aden

A delegation from the World Bank visited our country headed by Mrs. Maski Burhani, the regional director of the agriculture, water and environment sectors, and a team of the United Nations Development Program in the good management of the Duocyrd Center in the capital, Aden, led by Captain Rashid Mohammed Saeed Al -Shaabi.
This came during the visit of the UN delegation to the Duketyord Center, see the workflow, and the efforts of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries to restore activity in it, identify the status of the center, determine its needs, and discuss its capabilities to meet the needs of fishermen and fishing boats.
The UN delegation was accompanied by the head of the Aden Bay Husket Authority, Dr. Abdel Salam Ahmed, and the engineer, Areej Ahmed, advisor to the minister for engineering projects and the director of the Douicide Center, Captain Rashid Al -Shaabi, during his visit yesterday to the center inspected the project of supplying, installing and operating a snow factory with a production capacity of 10 tons per day with a snow portfolio in addition to installing a solar power generation system for the Duocyrd Fish Center, which is implemented The United Nations Development Program through the Public Works Project, as part of the project to develop fish traps in the Arab and red sea and the Gulf of Aden in the amount of 424 thousand dollars with funding from the World Bank.
The project aims to develop fish conservation and circulation by providing the best technology available in the field of ice production, and working on how to apply it in the Duocyrd Center, as the proper cooling process plays a decisive role in maintaining the quality of fresh fish and extending it in the long run.
The Chairman of the Bay of the Bay of the Gulf of Aden and the Director of the Duocyrd Center expressed their appreciation for the efforts of the World Bank to rehabilitate and develop the Duocyrd Fish Center through the United Nations Development Program, stressing that the rehabilitation of the center will give a qualitative shift for the fish sector projects in the capital, Aden, and a vital promotion force to proceed with the continuous efforts of the ministry’s leadership to implement many sustainable projects in the fish sector.
