The members of the Shabwa Governorate Police Battalion managed to arrest one of the citizens after he shot an illegal immigrant of Ethiopian nationality, in the city of Ataq yesterday evening Tuesday.

Where the citizen, "A, A, A", directed several gunshots towards the immigrant of the Ethiopian nationality, which led to his injury. Upon hearing the shooting, the emergency patrol quickly went to the scene, where it managed to locate the perpetrator and arrest him.

Where members of the Governorate Security Emergency Battalion transferred the victim to Al -Shifa Hospital in Ataq to receive treatment. The perpetrator was also handed over to the Criminal Investigation Department to complete the legal procedures.

So far, the causes of the crime have not been detected, and the victim is still in the hospital for treatment. The criminal investigation will start a comprehensive investigation into the incident to find out the motives behind this act, and to present the perpetrator to the competent authorities.
