The World Food Program warns against stopping food aid in Yemen

The program expressed its great concern about the recent notifications issued by the American administration, which indicates the end of the financing of emergency food aid in 14 countries around the world.
The program emphasized in a statement that this step, if approved, "may be a death penalty against millions of people who face severe hunger."
The UN program explained that it is in contact with the American administration in order to "obtain more clarifications in this matter, and to urge to continue supporting these life -saving programs."
