The Director General of Sheikh Othman Directorate launched a modern traffic light in one of the vital intersections in the directorate, in a move aimed at regulating traffic, limiting traffic congestion and improving public safety.

The new sign is characterized by being digital and modern design, as it was provided with the latest technologies and its integration with a special operating room, allowing traffic control and monitoring directly through high -resolution surveillance cameras, which contributes to enhancing the efficiency of traffic management and immediately controlling violations.

The Director General was accompanied during the inauguration, Captain Nasser Al -Dahshli, Commander of the Eighth Sector in the Security Belt and Engineer Hafez Ibrahim, Director of the Public Works Office in the Directorate, who in turn stressed the importance of this step in improving traffic flow and supporting the efforts of the security services in organizing the movement of vehicles and pedestrians.

This project comes within the efforts of the local authority in updating the infrastructure and developing public services in the directorate, in order to keep pace with the needs of citizens and traffic safety requirements.
