Shabwa Governor reveals preparations to establish the first medical city to fund the UAE

The Governor of Shabwa, Awad Ibn Al -Wazir, revealed that the first medical city specialized in the governorate center is the city of Ataq, funded by the United Arab Emirates.
The governor said in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), that the medical city will be held on the campus of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Education Authority and will bear the same name, and the Khalifa bin Zayed Foundation for Humanitarian Works will manage and operate it by a specialized international company.
The Governor of Shabwa pointed out that the Medical City will include all medical and qualitative specialties that limit the treatment request for many incurable diseases abroad ... noting that this ambitious health and strategic project will become a shrine for patients from various directorates and governorates and will make a qualitative shift in the reality and future of the health sector in the governorate.
The governor pointed out that he issued directives to the concerned authorities regarding the work to expand the hospital campus from the southwestern side, to include all medical and specialized facilities that will be held within the framework of the city project.
