The opening of the Heart and Intensive Care Unit at Abboud Military Hospital in Aden

Under the auspices of His Excellency the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Mohsen Al -Daari, today, Sunday, the Heart Diseases and Cardiological Care Unit at Abboud Military Hospital in the capital, Aden, was opened, in an important step aimed at strengthening specialized medical services for the armed forces and citizens alike.
This opening comes as a start for an ambitious medical project that seeks to create an integrated heart disease, which includes an advanced cardiac catheterization unit, in addition to preparing a center for heart surgery, which contributes to reducing the suffering of heart patients and providing treatment within the country.
This project was implemented with support and financing from Commander Anwar Al -Omari, Director of the Economic Corporation in Aden, as part of his continuous efforts to support the health sector and vital projects in the capital, Aden.
The attendees also thanked and appreciated by Dr. Aref Al -Daari, Director of the Military Medical Services Department of the Southern Armed Forces and Southern Security, and Dr. Rania Farhan, Director of Abboud Military Hospital, for their relentless efforts in supervision, implementation and follow -up to the success of this humanitarian project.
The hospital administration emphasized that the opening of this unit is a basic step towards confronting heart disease, which is one of the most prominent causes of deaths, and that efforts are continuing to complete all stages of the project during the coming period.
