The Houthi militia prevents its leaders from leaving Sanaa

The Houthi militia prevented a number of leaders and officials from leaving Sana'a, as part of security measures described as "unprecedented".
According to the sources, the ban included the military leaders, tribal sheikhs, public directors, ministries agents, directors of directorates and government institutions, along with a number of businessmen residing in Sanaa, where they were informed of the suspension of any movements outside the capital immediately.
The sources pointed out that Sana'a is witnessing an "internal security closure", with a wide spread of security personnel and militia militants, and strict tightening of the city's main ports and entrances, considering that whoever tries to leave without prior permission falls within treason and will be held accountable when arresting him in the bulletin points around the exits of Sanaa.
