In the context of continuous security follow -up and in order to raise the level of performance and institutional discipline, the Director of Security of Lahj Governorate, Brigadier Nasser Al -Shuhti, carried out this morning, a field descent to the headquarters of the Police Directorate, where he was closely briefed on the progress of security work, and inspected the technical and logistical readiness of the women's prison building, and its latest equipment.

He was received by Brigadier Al -Shuhti, upon his arrival, the director of the security of Captain Abdul Karim Al -Hoshabi, the director of criminal investigation, Lieutenant Aref Al -Saqqaf, and a number of officers describing the security officers of the Directorate, who gave a sufficient explanation about the level of preparation and development in their units.

During his visit, Brigadier Al -Shuhti toured the police stations, which also included inspecting the conditions of women's prison inmates, listening to a detailed explanation about the services provided, stressing the importance of adhering to human and legal standards in dealing with female prisoners, and the need to provide a safe and appropriate environment that respects human rights.

Al -Shuhati stressed the need to raise security readiness and activate the role of the police stations more in serving the community, noting that the directives of the Governorate Security Command come within the framework of a comprehensive plan to advance the security sector and enhance the citizen’s confidence in the security services.

Brigadier Al -Shuhti added that direct field work and follow -up of readiness closely is the perfect way to evaluate performance and address shortcomings, if any, pointing out that the Pennted Police is one of the honorable models in cooperation, readiness and discipline, thanks to the efforts of its leadership and its members.

Brigadier Al -Shuhati praised the high spirit of security personnel in adoption, noting the great efforts made by Captain Abdul Karim Al -Hoshabi in enhancing security and stability, and developing security work, as well as the effective role of Lieutenant Aref Al -Saqqaf and all the security crews in research and follow -up.

For his part, Captain Abdul Karim Al -Hoshabi, Director of Tabnah Security, expressed his great gratitude for the visit of Brigadier Al -Shuhati, praising his continuous support and accurate follow -up to various security issues, which contributed significantly to raising the efficiency of work and developing performance within the directorate.
