In a new tragic scene that is repeated by the rainy season in Yemen, an entire Yemeni family lost her life, after the torrents were swept away in Ibb governorate in the center of the country.

According to local sources, the accident occurred in the “Mattam” area southeast of Ibb, when the torrential torrents surprised a family that was going through a waterways, to result in the death of four people from one family, while a girl who is still under shock was rescued.

According to the testimonies of the families, the bodies of an elderly woman and a nine -year -old girl were found in the “Ghail Ainan” area, within the course of the torrent that descended from Mitam, while the head of the family, and he is called “Saleh Al -Qamadi”, is still missing.

The information indicates that Al -Qamadi was trying to save his mother and a girl from his family after the torrents surprised them, but the strength of the water prevented this. The bodies and granddaughters of his mother were later recovered, while searching for his body continues in light of rugged terrain and difficult field conditions.

It turned out that the surviving girl is the daughter of Al -Qamadi's brother, and she was later found close to the site of the accident, where residents managed to save her before the water was swept off further.
