The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in Aden calls on business facilities to accelerate the provision of workers' data

The Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in the capital, Aden, today called on all business facilities and profitable and non -profit institutions, to quickly submit the statements of its workers to the ministry and its competent branches.
The Ministry stated in an official circular that this step comes based on Labor Law No. (5) for the year 1995 and its executive regulations, and within its efforts to regulate the labor market and limit expatriate workers.
The Ministry demanded the establishments concerned to provide a number of basic data, including:
1. The name of the facility, its location, the date of its establishment, the nature of its activity, the number of workers in it, and the name of its administration.
2. Warning reporting of vacant jobs, according to what was stipulated in Article (14) of the Labor Law.
3. Registration of local workers with the ministry, and issuing health fitness certificates and job cards for them.
4. Obtaining prior approval from the ministry when recruiting foreign workers, in preparation for issuing their work permits.
5. Approval of work contracts and internal organizational regulations for the establishment of the Ministry.
The Ministry stressed the need to fully adhere to the contents of the circular and the instructions contained in it, stressing that this aims to enhance the professional organization and ensure stability in the labor market.
