The Ministry of Education confirms the start of high school exams on time, despite the students' protests

The Ministry of Education confirmed today that the high school exams for the academic year 2024-2025 will start on time without delay, ignoring student protests demanding postponement due to the failure of the study, especially in the capital, Aden.
This came during a meeting of the Higher Committee for Examinations headed by Deputy Minister Dr. Ali Al -Abab, where she stressed the completion of the curricula in various governorates, including Aden, and the formation of a ministerial committee to address the exceptional challenges there.
The statement issued by the committee confirmed that the technical and administrative preparations were completed, and the secret printing press was directed to prepare the questions according to the reports of the education offices. The director of the Education Office in Aden was also invited to attend the next meeting to follow up on preparations.
The statement pointed to the Ministry’s commitment to ensure equal opportunities and apply strict procedures to ensure the integrity of the exams, calling on students to focus and not pay attention to rumors.
This decision comes despite protest stops organized by students in Aden, in which they expressed their inability to study the entire curriculum as a result of the teachers' strike for four months to demand their job rights.
