Minister Al-Zaouri inspects the Al-Salam Village project for widows, orphans and affected families in the capital, Aden

His Excellency the Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Dr. Muhammad Saeed Al-Zaouri, inspected this Sunday morning the progress of construction work for the Al-Salam Residential Village project located in Al-Shaab City and designated for widows, orphans and affected families in the capital, Aden, provided by the brothers in the State of Kuwait through the Kuwaiti Al-Salam Society for Humanitarian and Charitable Works. It is implemented by the Humanity Companions Foundation.
During his inspection visit, in which he was accompanied by Brother Badr, Saeed’s assistant, Deputy Governor of the capital, Aden, and Secretary-General of the Local Council, His Excellency Minister Al-Zaouri heard from the project director, head of the Rafaqa Humanitarian Foundation, Dr. Murad Ghaleb Al-Daari, an explanation about the progress of the ongoing work in implementing the project and its completion. Until today, as well as the remaining work to complete the project.
During the visit, Minister Al-Zaouri expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the brothers in the State of Kuwait, the Emir, the government and the people, for their generous support for our country in all fields, and in the forefront are the brothers in the Kuwaiti Al-Salam Society for Humanitarian and Charitable Works for their support and financing of this sustainable and important development project, which was allocated to widows, orphans and affected families. In the capital, Aden, which will contribute to solving part of the problem of housing and shelter for them and alleviating their suffering in light of the difficult living conditions they face, especially in the capital, Aden, which was subjected to sabotage and destruction of its infrastructure as a result of the Houthi terrorist militia’s invasion of it, praising the efforts of the brother, the Minister of State, Governor of the capital, Aden. To provide the land area for the project, and follow up on it to specialists in the branch of the State Land and Real Estate Office for technical supervision and to enable the implementing institution to complete its work easily, smoothly and in record time.
He also thanked the project implementer, the Al-Rafaqa Humanitarian Foundation, and the engineers and workers in the project, calling on civil society institutions and organizations and supporting organizations to adopt sustainable development projects that will bring about a qualitative shift in the country because they contribute to solving the complex living conditions facing citizens in our country, especially the category of widows, orphans and the affected. One of the results of the military and economic war that was waged and is still being waged by the Houthi terrorist militias.. stressing that the leadership of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, in coordination with the local authorities, is fully prepared to provide all regular facilities to donors and implementing agencies for such important projects.
For his part, the Deputy Governor, Secretary of the Local Council in the capital, Aden, Badr, Ma’oun Saeed, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the leadership of the local authority in the capital, Aden, represented by His Excellency the Minister of State, Governor of the capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, to the brothers in Kuwait for their funding of this project to help widows and orphans in the capital, Aden. Noting that the leadership of the local authority in the governorate has directed all concerned parties to facilitate project management tasks and provide all necessary support and facilities to complete the project on time.
The Al Salam Village project for widows, orphans and affected families in the capital, Aden, consists of 564 residential apartments in its final phase, while its first phase included the construction of 18 buildings, including 12 residential buildings containing 144 residential apartments, a mosque with its annexes, a service complex, and a government school for basic education. And a Sharia sciences school, in addition to a health center, an amusement park, children’s playgrounds, and a sewing center. The duration of the project is 6 months.
