The Ministry of Education in the temporary capital, Aden, announced the schedule of high school exams for the academic year 2024-2025 for the scientific and literary sections.

The Ministry of Education, represented by the Supreme Committee for Examinations, confirmed that the exams will start on 5/5/24025 with the Holy Qur’an for both parts .. noting that the exam period for each Article 3 hours starts from 8:30 am and ends at 11:30 pm.

She pointed out that all technical and administrative measures have been taken to ensure questions reach the exam centers on time, and the exam committees will be secured and all arrangements are reviewed to ensure justice and transparency.

This announcement came after extensive meetings of the Higher Committee for Examinations to ensure the progress of the exam process regularly and transparently in light of unprecedented challenges due to the strike in Aden Governorate and parts of the directorates of Taiz Governorate, where the Ministry of Education succeeded in completing the high school exam procedures for the academic year 2024-2025.

The Supreme Committee affirmed its commitment not to deprive any student of his right to apply for exams, through a series of exceptional procedures that reflect unremitting efforts to overcome the crisis, as the Supreme Committee for Examinations faced severe obstacles with the exacerbation of the teachers' strike in Aden, which led to the delay in completing the courses for third -grade high school students.

However, the ministry moved with proactive steps first through an emergency meeting through (Zoom), as well as the invitation of Dr. Nawal Jawad, Director of the Education Office in Aden, to the second and third meeting of the Supreme Committee to discuss ways to compensate for delay, followed by a meeting with the Prime Minister Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak in Ramadan, in the presence of the governor of the Governorate for Educational Affairs and the Director of the Education Office, to ensure that obstacles are overcome, and on April 9, a ministerial committee for the field visit was formed to see the completion of the course for the Education Office in Aden, where it was emphasized to open schools and complete the minimum courses for exams and on April 13, 2025, the Education Office in Aden submitted a report documenting the completion rate in the academic subjects, with a plan to complete the rest At the end of the month, what enabled a condensed schedule to support students.
