Removing the remnants of Hurricane Tej from the crossings on the Wadi Al-Jaza’ road and opening internal streets in the city of Al-Ghaydah

The teams working at the Roads and Bridges Corporation in Al-Mahra Governorate began their work in removing the remnants of the floods and opening the ferries at the northern entrance to Wadi Al-Jaza, the Al-Ghaydah-Shihn Road, and opening a main street in the city after the ferry that was damaged by the rains of Hurricane Tej was carried out and repaired.
The Undersecretary for Technical Affairs in the Governorate, Engineer Awad Ahmed Quwaizan, explained that the equipment of the General Corporation for Roads and Bridges branch in the Governorate and the working teams have begun their work in removing the waste and opening the ferries at the eastern entrance to the city of Al-Ghaydah, Wadi Al-Jaza Road, in implementation of the directives and follow-up of Mr. Muhammad Ali Yasser, Governor of Al-Mahra Governorate, regarding the speed Opening roads and restoring services to serve citizens and their movement safely, after the hurricane.
Queizan pointed out that one of the main streets in the city of Al-Ghaydah was opened after a concrete bridge was built for it and it was buried, pointing out that work is underway to rehabilitate the street and work to re-pave the damaged parts as a result of the torrents and rains resulting from Hurricane Tej, which struck the governorate on the 23rd and 24th of May.
