United Nations: We are concerned about what is happening in the Red Sea

The United Nations spokesman said that they are following with “deep concern” reports that the Houthis in Yemen seized a Bahamian-flagged ship in the Red Sea and is believed to have been on a voyage between Turkey and India, while the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear.
In his daily press conference, UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric reiterated the importance of ensuring full respect for international law regarding maritime navigation and freedom of navigation.
He added, "We urge all concerned parties and countries in the region to exercise the utmost restraint and refrain from taking any escalatory measures."
