The United States announces an increase in American aid allocations to Yemen

The US Ambassador to Yemen, Stephen Wajen, revealed an increase in American humanitarian aid allocations for Yemen, as well as implementing service and development projects in the health, education and basic services sectors.
This came during his meeting on Sunday in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, Governor of Hadramout Mabkhout bin Madi; To discuss joint cooperation in enhancing security, combating terrorism and supporting economic and development services in the governorate.
According to the Saba Agency, the American ambassador congratulated the sons of Hadramout on the anniversary of the liberation of the coast from al -Qaeda, praising the experience of the successful province in achieving security and stability, describing it as a "ideal model" to combat terrorism in Yemen.
The American ambassador affirmed that Hadramout represents an important pillar of peace in Yemen, again Washington's commitment to supporting development and stability programs in the province.
The American ambassador also renewed his country's support for the Presidential Command Council headed by Dr. Rashad Muhammad Al -Alimi, and for the efforts of the UN envoy to advance the peace process in Yemen.
Ambassador Wajen warned of the risks of the disintegration of the social fabric, praising at the same time the efforts of the local authority in Hadramout to enhance transparency and combat corruption.
In turn, the governor reviewed during the meeting the general situation in the governorate, praising the solidarity of efforts to preserve the unit of the class and provide services to citizens.
Bin Madi called in this context to double American support for infrastructure projects and vital sectors with the aim of alleviating the humanitarian crisis.
The two sides had discussed ways to support military and security institutions, especially the Coast Guard forces, in efforts to confront smuggling and combating terrorism, as well as strengthening services and achieving stability, in a way that establishes the status of Hadramout as a model for security and peace.
