The governor and Al -Shatti see the needs of Lahj Central Prison

According to the directives of the Vice -President of the Presidential Command Council, Commander of the Giants Brigades, Major General Abdel Rahman Abu Zarah Al -Muharrami, Brigadier Mohsen Al -Wali, Commander of the security belts, implemented a field visit to the central prison in Lahj Governorate, and was received by Brigadier Nasser Al -Shuhti, Director of the Governorate Security, and a number of security leaders.
During a field gathering of the prison forces, Brigadier Al -Shuhti delivered a speech in which he welcomed the delegation, appreciating the support of Brigadier Al -Wali, who remained present in the security work for more than a decade. He stressed that the visit comes within the framework of the leadership's interest in inspecting the reform institutions and evaluating its readiness and needs, noting that the higher directives aim to address problems and enhance the security structure.
For his part, Brigadier Mohsen Al -Wali expressed his pride in the security developments in Lahj Governorate, stressing that the successes in controlling security and stability reflect the efficiency of the security leadership, headed by the Director of Lahj Security and all the workers. He explained that the visit is a direct implementation of the directives of Brigadier Abu Zarah Al -Muharrami, who pays great attention to the security file to enhance stability in the liberated governorates.
Colonel Hassoun Al -Mashli, Director of the Central Prison Belhaj, also thanked the support efforts, praising the initiative to install the surveillance camera system as a qualitative step in enhancing prison security, and demanding more restoration and maintenance of the infrastructure and prison facilities to ensure the readiness of security work.
During an expanded meeting with prison leaders and officers, Brigadier General Al -Wali discussed the field challenges, and stressed the importance of upgrading security performance and providing basic needs, especially after the positive interventions led by Major General Abu Zarah Al -Muharrami after the recent events in Sabr Prison, which revealed some shortcomings in technical and logistical capabilities.
At the end of the visit, Brigadier General Al -Wali and Brigadier Al -Shuhti, accompanied by Judge Ali Ahmed Abdullah Al -Hariri, Undersecretary of the Security, Research and Prisons in Lahj, made a field tour that included the internal prison department, the prosecution office, the courtroom, the dilapidated facilities, the prison wall, the moral guidance office, the monitoring towers, and the internal affairs offices.
The governor and Al -Shatti also visited the office of the Hariri judge, who was warmly welcomed, appreciating this qualitative visit and the interest of the security and judicial leadership in the reformist and judicial sector, and during the meeting, Judge Hariri praised the efforts of the leaders in supporting the prison through vital projects, most notably the installation of the cameras system, with reference to future projects under planning to enhance the reformist performance.
In their turn, the two leaders praised the governor and Al -Shuhti on the legal efforts made by the Hariri judge, and his direct supervision of the departments of criminal investigation and prisons, and his follow -up to the application of the law and the consolidation of the principles of justice in the province.
It should be noted that this visit comes within a comprehensive plan to enhance security and stability, through direct field descent and assessing the level of security performance in Lahj Governorate.
