The National Assembly stands against the deterioration of electricity service and the exacerbation of the economic conditions in the south

The administrative body of the National Association of the Southern Transitional Council held today, Wednesday, its periodic meeting, headed by Professor Ali Abdullah Al -Kathiri, President of the Association.
At the beginning of the meeting, which was attended by Mr. Issam Abdo Ali, Vice President of the Association, the administrative body blessed the impressive success of the “Hadramout First” effectiveness, which formed a milestone struggle through which the sons of Hadramout expressed their national awareness and their rejection of attempts to restore the tools of the Yemeni occupation, renewing their demands to enable the Hadrami elite forces to extend its security control over the entire dust of Hadramout.
The administrative body stood in its meeting in front of the developments of the service, economic and living conditions in the south, and the recently accompanied by popular discontent and demonstrations in the southern street, and in the forefront of the deterioration of electricity service and weak electric power generation in the capital, Aden and the rest of the southern governorates, in conjunction with the increasing temperatures and the entry of the summer.
In the same context, the administrative body praised the high dealings and the official expressed by the southern security forces with the popular demonstrations and protests resulting from the deteriorating basic services in the country, and stressed its standing with the right of people to demonstrate and peaceful, away from violence and chaos, or allowing the enemies of the south to invest the state of popular boiling to tamper with security and stability in the capital Aden and the rest of the southern governorates.
In this regard, the authority summoned at this meeting the leadership of the General Electricity Corporation, where it listened to surrounded by M. Mujib al -Shaabi, Director General of the General Electricity Corporation, included an explanatory and transparent explanation of the electricity situation in the capital, Aden, the rest of the liberated governorates, and the real reasons that the gap has expanded to deteriorate this service, and the problems of the inability to secure oil derivatives in a sustainable manner, stressing that the government does not interact and does not deal seriously with any calls made by the institution.
Al -Shaabi also reviewed a number of recently followed procedures to address the worsening problems facing electricity, and the efforts made by the Ministry of Electricity and Energy to contribute to getting rid of the lack of fuel supply, as well as the phenomenon of increasing random linking, and also provided a brief clarification of the fundamental reasons that led to the decision to cancel all the purchase contracts purchased.
The heads of the association’s committees presented, during the meeting, to the popular engineer, a number of questions and inquiries, included in a number of visions and proposals that will contribute to improving the electricity service, and the authority unanimously agreed on the need to continue to hold extensive meetings with the leaders and specialists in the electricity service file, follow up its problems and possible solutions.
The Commission called on the Presidential Command Council and the government to assume their responsibilities, find urgent solutions, and provide the necessary liquidity to purchase fuel shipments, and work to find radical and sustainable solutions for Aden electricity and the rest of the southern governorates, ensuring their continuity, and that political differences are not caused by the suffering of citizens and blackmailing their dignity.
The administrative body had reviewed in its meeting a report of the association's economic committee on revenues and general uses of the state and the south of it, then discussed a number of issues listed in the agenda, and took the necessary measures in this regard.
