America makes a new statement about the detention of the Israeli ship in the Red Sea

The United States made a new statement regarding the detention by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia of an Israeli commercial cargo ship in the Red Sea.
The US National Security Council's Strategic Communications Coordinator, John Kirby, said that the Houthis' seizure of the "Galaxy Leader" ship in the Red Sea is a flagrant violation of international law, and Iran is complicit in the operation.
John Kirby confirmed that the United States has begun reviewing the classifications of “terrorist entities,” in an American threat to reclassify the Houthi militias on the terrorist list.
The administration of US President Joe Biden removed the militias from the terrorist list in 2021, a few months after they were included during the era of former President Donald Trump.
American officials had spoken earlier that Iran was involved in the hijacking of the Galaxy Leader, a Japanese cargo ship, belonging to a British company linked to an Israeli businessman.
The Houthi militia said that it carried out the operation in support of Palestine and Gaza, and that it would continue the operations until the aggression against the Gaza Strip stopped and “the disappearance of Israel.”
