The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its welcome to the diplomatic efforts made by the Sultanate of Oman and resulted in a ceasefire agreement between America and the Houthis in Yemen.

At the same time, Kuwait hoped that this step included freedom of navigation and the smoothness of the international commercial shipping movement, while the Foreign Ministry renewed in a statement the position of the state in support of the course of dialogue and diplomatic solutions to settle contentment issues and conflicts at the regional and international levels, praising the same framework what the statement described as the "good endeavors" that the Sultanate of Oman undertakes in this regard.

The Sultanate of Oman confirmed the success of mediation efforts to stop the fire between America and the Houthis, after the discussions and communications conducted by Muscat recently with America and the Houthi group in Sanaa, with the aim of achieving the de -escalation.
